About The 2009 Artsfest
Demonstrators

Every year is it so exciting here at the Greater Harrisburg Arts Council when the slides come pouring in from all over the United States from the hundreds of talented artisans who want to come to Harrisburg to exhibit their work in Riverfront Park. Something really special caught this year’s juror’s eye during the selection process. On the application the artists complete to apply to be an exhibitor at Artsfest, there is a check off for  artists willing to  

demonstrate their art. GHAC loves this component of Artsfest. The viewing patron gets to see hands on how art is created and meet and greet these talented folks. Not only do our demonstrating artists educate us about the creative process, it inspires both adults and children to create art for themselves! The intimidation is lost which could happen in a formal gallery setting and everyone gets to experience the magic of Art.

Cesar Nogueira- Stone Sculptor
