Artsfest Always Needs Your Help!

Once again, the Greater Harrisburg Arts Council would like to thank everyone who helps us put on this great show! It is amazing to hear of the gratitude from our artists who travel across the United States towards the hundreds of volunteers that help over Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends in Riverfront Park.  Not only will you have a great time but you will receive a souvenir Artsfest t-shirt and have an open pass to visit our morning hospitality tent for coffee and breakfast treats. So come on board, give us a few hours and be a part of the success of Artsfest. All volunteers will be invited to a Sunday evening Volunteer/Artist Appreciation Social and Dinner!

Available Volunteer duties for Artsfest:

• Helping the Gate Managers collect the entrance fees

• Booth Sitting for Artists

• Assisting in Information booths 

• Assisting with entertainment stages. 

• Helping in the Kidsfest Arts and Crafts area. 

•  Setting up Artsfest: Friday is set up day.  We help to match up the artists with their appropriate booth spaces.  We help them to unload and put up their booths(tents/artwork).   We also help the GHAC staff to do whatever last minute things they need done before the start of the festival on Saturday morning.
